DeathBall is the fourteenth episode of the second season of StarCrafts. It is the thirty-ninth episode overall.
Plot[]
The episode begins with two marines patrolling the base. One marine notices the ground rumbling beneath them and uses binoculars to see a ball of protoss forces rolling towards the base, called "deathball."
The deathball rolls strongly, causing a squadron of four marines, a ghost and a marauder run away from the ball which crushes all structures in its path. The protoss separate and begin attacking and shooting. The marauder retaliates by shooting at a stalker. However, the stalker dodges its shots and blinks behind him.
The scene cuts to a marine teacher writing "1+1=" on the board to train two new marines. Suddenly, a colossus' leg crushes a marine through the roof and uses thermal lances on the second one. The marauder manhandles the stalker and shoots Bob the Ragelot but bumps into an immortal. The immortal grabs him and smashes him into the ground head first. The deathball proceeds to destroy the rest of the base. Unfortunately, because the protoss deathball does not contain any air units, a few structures lift off and escape. The barracks notices the destruction and flees. Bob throws a marine off a cliff into the lava.
Epilogue[]
In a zerg base, a hydralisk and roach patrolling a base feel the ground rumbling beneath them, setting the events of "Unstoppable" in motion.

- The marine teacher and blackboard scene is reused from "Marine Training."
- One marine in the barracks has a mini-fan. It is possible that it is powered by a reactor add-on, allowing the second marine to be trained.
In-game Refrences[]
- Episode's title is named after the protoss deathball tactic on StarCraft II, where protoss' massive units are used to defend smaller tier units during the protoss rush. It is also a massive army that could kill any unit in one shot.
