HotS & WoL in a Nutshell is the secondary episode of "BroodWar in a Nutshell" in the fourth season of StarCrafts.
Plot[]
Jim Raynor is shown drunk at the bar of Hyperion, but Tychus Findlay informs him to "spread a little mayhem." Happily, Jim agrees. He and Tychus break into the Dominion battlecruiser to meet Valerian Mengsk who fixes his long hair on a hand mirror. Valerian rips a photo of himself and his father Mengsk apart and accepts to join them.
The battlecruiser falls down below, and crash-lands onto Infested Kerrigan. The trio rush out and carry her inside, but the low doorway bumps her out. Unreasonably angered, Jim aims his magnum pistol at Tychus' face, but Tychus does nothing. But when Jim turns his gun at a side grip, it surprises Tychus, and he is shot down out of the ship. Jim grabs unconscious Kerrigan aboard.
Like babies, Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor hold hands together like babies. A potato sack lands on him and he is kidnapped. As Sarah knows about Mengsk's betrayal and kidnapping of Jim by Nova Terra, she infuriates with power, so Zeratul appears and grabs her to planet Zerus. In front of Zurvan, she becomes a chrysalis and mutates to Queen of Blades once again, unleashing her powerful fury.
Infested Kerrigan then zooms to planet Korhal and crashes against Mengsk loafing at the desk, causing an explosion. Then she lovingly waves goodbye at Jim Raynor while floating to the sky until she gets hit by a passenger plane.

- This episode illustrates the important events of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm, omitting the side missions and other story events.
- The red, fiery background where Kerrigan appears is a cut-out filter effect of the Char scene of last Wings of Liberty missions.
- The scene where deinfested Kerrigan charges up with power is a reference to Super Saiyan from Dragonball series.
- Broken-horned zergling would have been shown.
- This is the second time both Infested Kerrigan and Arcturus Mengsk appear in Korhal since "Heart of the Swarm Opening".
- A large sign on Zerus behind Zurvan says "Jurassic Park", the movie reference for primal zerg and the tropical jungle.
- "Morituri te Salutant" is played at the end for second time since its previous episode.
