An Infestor is a zerg ground support unit, and one of the spellcasters of zerg race
without an armament. It has an ability to cast fungal growth, spawn infested marines and mind-control units using a neural parasite tentacle.

Trivia[]
- The only infestor in regular StarCrafts series is Derpfestor who was originally teamed with purple zerg and currently teamed as red canonically. As such, after season 2, there will be possibly no purple infestor anymore.
